Your role:

  • Take operational management of the relevant licensing activities, ensuring that resources are used effectively to address priority issues and achieve performance and quality standards targets.
  • Implement licensing strategies which align with legislative requirements, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Research and/or supervise the research on the licensing and/or registration requirements applicable to Nexo’s business activity in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Prepare and/or supervise the preparation of all the necessary documents in the course of licensing and/or registration procedures initiated by Nexo in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Handle license and/or registration maintenance, including in regular examinations.
  • Supervise junior/regular team members.
  • Work closely with and report to the Chief Legal & Regulatory Officer, to better assess applicable requirements and to ensure that Nexo’s business activity is carried out in full compliance therewith.
  • Work in close cooperation and actively communicate with regional legal counsels and regulators.

  • Minimum relevant professional experience in a corporate environment of more than 10 years, in particular in the field of regulatory compliance, credit, payment institution, and banking licensing. Any experience in cryptocurrencies and blockchain is a strong advantage.
