About Ondo Finance

Hi, we're Ondo Finance. Our mission is to provide institutional-grade, blockchain-enabled investment products and services. We have both a technology arm that develops decentralized finance technology and an asset management arm that creates and manages tokenized funds. We were the first company to tokenize exposure to US Treasuries and have since expanded into several other assets. We are also focused on incubating protocols that can support both tokenized real-world assets and traditional crypto.

Founded by folks from Goldman Sachs's Digital Assets Team, we’re backed by some of the best investors in the world, including Founders Fund, Coinbase Ventures, Pantera Capital, Tiger Global, and more. We are currently the leaders in the space in terms of AUM and are well-capitalized to continue growing the firm. We're fully remote, with team members across the U.S.

About the Role

We’re seeking a bold, strategic, and highly organized Marketing Events Lead to drive Ondo’s presence at key industry moments. You will craft and execute a global event and content programming strategy that connects our brand with institutional partners, DeFi communities, and key industry stakeholders. From high-profile crypto conferences to bespoke institutional gatherings, you’ll design and deliver events that amplify Ondo’s narrative, drive growth, and position Ondo as a thought leader at the intersection of institutional TradFi and Crypto.

As our Marketing Events Lead, you will work cross-functionally with leaders across Marketing, Product, Partnerships, Developer Relations, and Communications to ensure every event reflects Ondo’s commitment to excellence and innovation. You’ll also be the driving force behind partnerships with top-tier vendors and industry partners to deliver standout experiences.
Responsibilities

Event Strategy & Industry Engagement

•Develop and own Ondo’s global event and programming strategy to support company objectives, from institutional adoption to community engagement.
•Act as an industry expert, staying informed about key voices, trending topics, and relevant events in the DeFi and broader Web3 ecosystem.
•Identify and prioritize high-impact industry events where Ondo’s presence can deliver outsized returns.
•Align event strategy with marketing, product, partnerships, and communications roadmaps.
•Clearly communicate strategic goals and event priorities to the executive team.

Event Content & Management

•Lead the speaker management life-cycle, including outreach, content review, placement, onsite coordination, and post-event follow-up for virtual and in-person events.
•Collaborate with internal stakeholders to craft compelling, industry-relevant content for conferences, roundtables, and livestreams.
•Build strong relationships with internal speakers, refining their presentations to align with event objectives and Ondo’s brand narrative.
•Establish a process for identifying, preparing, and managing speakers for internal and external events.
•Develop a tailored content strategy for external conferences, adapting to the unique needs of each event.

Event Planning & Execution

•Plan and oversee diverse event formats, including Ondo’s own large-scale event, to private institutional gatherings, virtual webinars, side events, and technical workshops.
•Build and manage relationships with best-in-class external vendors, venues, and partners globally.
•Deliver best-in-class experiences with precise attention to detail across all executional aspects (venue, AV/tech, catering, merchandise, guest experiences, staffing).
•Oversee guest journeys from invitation and registration to post-event follow-up, ensuring a seamless experience.
•Collaborate with Design, Content, and Communications teams to create cohesive event narratives and amplify event impact across digital channels.

Requirements

•5+ years of experience in event management, experiential marketing, or related fields.
•Proven track record of leading successful global events, from industry conferences to private institutional gatherings.
•Experience working with speakers for conferences and external-facing events, with a knack for crafting compelling stories and presentations.
•Deep familiarity with crypto and DeFi events landscape
•Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail—GANTT charts are second nature.
•Comfortable working in fast-paced environments, capable of adapting to shifting priorities.
•Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and experience engaging with executive leadership.
•A proactive, “no-task-too-small” mindset, with a focus on excellence in execution.
•Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Nice to Haves

•Experience building or engaging crypto communities, both in-person and online.
•Experience with creative production and experiential design.
•International event execution experience.
•Familiarity with institutional financial products and services.

What We Offer

•Competitive compensation including salary, future token rights, and/or equity (according to your preferences) — we're well-funded and believe that great talent deserves great compensation
•Full benefits (medical, vision, and dental) and flexible vacation policy (PTO)
•Small remote-first team across many countries — you'll be an early team member helping shape our vision, culture, and design practices
•A+ colleagues — our team includes alumni from: Goldman Sachs, Blackrock, Two Sigma, Bridgewater, SpaceX, AWS, Meta, Google, McKinsey, Circle, Uniswap
•Best-in-class investors — we are proud to be backed by leading crypto experts and VCs, including Pantera Capital, Founders Fund and Coinbase Ventures
