Stargate Finance is a fully composable liquidity transport protocol that sits at the heart of Omnichain DeFi. It was the first, and is still the largest, protocol built on top of LayerZero’s general messaging. Over the past 2 years, Stargate has grown to become by far the largest bridge in DeFi, having done over $30B in volume across 25 chains.
The Stargate Foundation is an independent foundation dedicated to supporting the protocol and DAO. The Foundations role primarily is to facilitate the will of the DAO, including liaising with technical execution and business partners.
About the role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Project Manager to join our fast-paced environment. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the execution of key projects, ensuring timely delivery, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in the rapidly evolving blockchain space. As a Project Manager, you will work closely with stakeholders across engineering, marketing, and operations to help deliver high-quality products and services that shape the future of decentralized technology.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with project owners to track project progress, identify risks, and ensure alignment with established timelines.
Work alongside the project team to drive initiatives forward, facilitating cross-functional cooperation (e.g., Marketing) for smooth and successful releases.
Manage and oversee the company's software projects.
Ensure transparent project reporting across the organization to maintain alignment.
Lead daily Agile exception-report meetings project owners and management to review program status and implement necessary actions to address any challenges preventing projects from meeting their objectives and deadlines.
About you
4+ years of practical experience with project management methodologies in a software environment.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
A proactive professional capable of identifying obstacles and proposing effective solutions to common engineering issues.
Proficient in managing projects through all phases: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
Experience with tools such as Jira, Linear, Confluence, Miro/LucidChart or similar platforms.
Strong leadership abilities, effectively collaborating with teams across all levels and functions.
Nice to Have:
At least one professional project management certification or training (PMI PMP, CSM, or Prince2).
Knowledge or experience in the Blockchain/WEB3 space is a significant plus.
