Seeking a full-time, entry/junior-level candidate to coordinate public relations (PR) activities for clients of Impact Partners, a strategic communications and PR consulting firm that advises venture capital / private equity firms, ultra high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and startup technology companies in ad/marketing, blockchain, cryptocurrency, data, DeFi, fintech, healthtech, and mobile.
This individual will be responsible for supporting day-to-day client needs, including drafting some content (e.g. pitches, press releases, media background documents, awards / speaking submissions and social posts), building and maintaining media, awards and events lists, media monitoring, and supporting the dissemination of news and information to the press. Additionally, the assistant account executive will maintain agendas, tracking, and reporting documents. Impact Partners’ executives are free to work from any location of their choosing, as long as appearance and background are professional. We will give preference to candidates able to meet in person in the New York City area on occasion. Be aware that the majority of the activity will be conducted during standard East Coast business hours (ET).
Previous / current strategic communications or public relations agency experience preferred; we will consider other disciplines. Candidates with developed emotional intelligence and an interest in social psychology and communications are also a plus. A Bachelor's degree is required.
