Community Manager:
Sock is looking for an experienced Community Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate has 3-4 years of experience proactively building community management strategies across online and offline channels, and has familiarity with the Web3 ecosystem. Sock is venture backed and fully-remote. We are building a mobile-first app that reduces the barrier to entry to Web3 by bringing many aspects of the ecosystem into a unified experience. Our vision is a world where Web3 is accessible and simple to use for everyone, and we’re starting by helping our users easily navigate the fragmented world of DeFi. We access the complex, ever-changing infrastructure of Web3 to provide a simple, transparent, and trustworthy experience for our users. We think Web3 holds enormous potential for the world, but only if users have the right tools to make the best possible decisions.
As Sock’s Community Manager, you will grow our online & offline community building a social media engagement strategy from 0-1. From traditional means to the most unique of social /content creation ideas, you will actively engage, run, and establish the foundation and evolve our community of crypto influencers, NFT artists/projects, and customers.
You will drive Sock’s brand presence across platforms, including but not limited to, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Discord, and Reddit, as well as producing and executing on periodic offline events that coincide with product launches, conferences, and more.
The ideal candidate has a background in content production and proven experience growing communities with measurable results.
What you’ll be doing:
- Collaborate with brand and PR partners to develop brand guidelines + create engaging content that represents the Sock brand, voice, and >
- Recommend and onboard scalable software solutions to support communication channels (Twitter, Discord, Telegram, Instagram, etc).
- Utilize our brand platform to shape the voice/tone of our communications to convey Sock’s mission and vision.
- Provide data driven recommendations to founders + Head of Product to help guide strategy, feature requests, user feedback, and more.
- Help develop, identify, and maintain Sock’s web3 influencer network.
- Regularly deliver reports on emerging Web3 trends, industry news, and Sock community sentiment.
- Manage and engage with the Sock’s on-platform communities and establish yourself as the authorized voice of the company.
- Develop and implement strategies that grow Sock’s current and future customers through social media and community management
- Recommend and implement channels that support and scale the Sock community (i.e. Twitter, Discord, Telegram, Instagram, etc.).
