About X Layer:
What You’ll Be Doing
- Grow and nurture X Layer's developer community by actively engaging with builders, providing support, and helping their projects flourish.
- Build and lead a best-in-class Developer Relations team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Create compelling technical content, such as tutorials, guides, and documentation, to equip developers with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed on the X Layer platform.
- Collaborate with builders at hackathons, workshops, and events to inspire and assist them in creating innovative onchain projects.
- Develop imaginative open-source tools and libraries that streamline the process of building onchain applications on X Layer.
- Identify and address developer needs and pain points, working closely with X Layer's Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to continuously enhance the developer experience.
What We Look For In You
- Strong computer science background, with hands-on experience building onchain applications using popular libraries and frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to break down complex concepts into easily digestible ideas.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, occasionally ambiguous environment with minimal supervision.
- Proven track record of building and engaging with onchain communities focused on creating public goods and supporting creators.
- Alignment with X Layer's mission and a genuine desire to create a better world through decentralized technologies
- Experience with Go and Rust programming languages.
- Prior experience working in a startup environment or contributing to open-source projects.
- Prior experience in a Developer Relations role is preferred.
