The Arbitrum Foundation is an organisation based in the Cayman Islands that is tasked with developing and nurturing the Arbitrum ecosystem. This includes Arbitrum One, an Optimistic Rollup, that instantly scales apps, reducing costs and increasing capacity, without sacrificing Ethereum's security and Arbitrum Nova, which allows for ultra-low cost fees by leveraging AnyTrust technology making it ideal for Social and Gaming applications.
Arbitrum today is the leading Ethereum scaling solution with dominant market share including hundreds of apps on the platform and over 50% of all rollup liquidity.Â
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Developer Relations (DevRel) to join our team. The DevRel team will play a pivotal role in building and nurturing relationships with developers, fostering a strong developer community around Arbitrum, and helping to drive adoption of our Layer 2 solutions. If you are a highly motivated individual with a deep understanding of blockchain technology and a passion for engaging with developers, we want to hear from you.
Requirements
- Developer Engagement:Â Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, both within and outside the Arbitrum community. Act as a key point of contact for technical inquiries and support.
- Community Building:Â Develop and execute strategies to grow and nurture a vibrant developer community around Arbitrum. Organize meetups, webinars, workshops, and other events to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Documentation and Education:Â Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, tutorials, and resources to help developers integrate with Arbitrum seamlessly. Deliver educational content through various channels.
- Feedback Loop:Â Gather feedback from developers and relay it to our product and engineering teams. Advocate for developers' needs and priorities within the organization.
- Technical Expertise:Â Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in blockchain technology, particularly in the Ethereum ecosystem. Be able to provide technical guidance and support to developers.
- Advocacy:Â Serve as a passionate advocate for Arbitrum within the developer community and at industry events. Promote our technology and contribute to its success.
- Collaboration:Â Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and engineering, to align developer outreach with our strategic goals.
- Metrics and Reporting:Â Track and analyze developer engagement metrics to measure the impact of developer relations efforts. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies.
Desired Background
- Proven experience in developer relations, developer advocacy, or a related role in the tech industry, within the blockchain or cryptocurrency space.
- Deep understanding of blockchain technology and Ethereum-based solutions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated experience in community building and engagement.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with open-source software development practices is a plus.
