Engineering Manager - SaaS B2B Applications
Location: Europe
About the Role:
- We seek an Engineering Manager to spearhead and set up a European hub.
- You will be a crucial player working closely with the engineering team in Asia on the direction of the technology roadmap.
- You will need a strong background in SaaS B2B applications, AI, and machine learning technologies, with a keen understanding of the retail software solutions landscape. Our tech stack includes Node.js, Golang, Python, GraphQL, Postgres, Terraform, React.JS, Angular, Typescript, gRPC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex engineering projects in a SaaS environment.
- Guide cross-functional and distributed teams to deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.
- Foster a culture of innovation, mentoring, and skill development within the engineering team.
- Make strategic decisions aligning technology with business goals, including scaling SaaS and market expansion.
- Lead research and development of applying foundation models to various real world customer problems.
- Design, build, deliver, and maintain complex backend systems and integrations that store millions of records, offer consistent query performance
Qualifications:
- 8+ years in engineering, with 2-3 years in leadership.
- Experience in SaaS B2B applications and business models.
- Expertise in AI, machine learning, including NLP and deep learning frameworks.
- Knowledge of foundation and multi-modal models.
- Skilled in cloud computing and data processing technologies.
- Preferable experience in retail software solutions.
- Leadership experience in diverse, multicultural startup environments.
- Strategic, continuously learning, tech-savvy.
- Preferred experience in organizational and technical change.
