About The Role:
The Developer Console team is looking for a person to work on our core product -- Discovery, which is a key platform powering the Blockchain Operating System. The Discovery platform will provide components, tools and platform for Developers to build rich blockchain experiences. The platform will provide composable user-facing components and functionality that provide a rich user experience to users while also providing components that can be assembled by developers into new experiences.
In this role you will build, improve, and maintain a large user-facing product that will connect multiple services together, provide controls and intelligence to the developers building projects on NEAR protocol’s Discovery platform, all while perfecting developer and user experience.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Designing and building end-to-end full stack product in a web3 environment;
- Collaborating with internal and external engineers and community members
- Integrating solutions from the developer and onboarding teams into the Discovery platform.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fields is a must
- Ability to design and deliver web applications end to end (preferably using web3 technology)
- The ability to solve all sorts of frontend engineering tasks
- Fluency in Typescript/Javascript and web standards
- Understanding of React (Next.js) practices (such as state management solutions, server-side rendering)
- Experience and interest in building and documenting developer-facing tools
- Strong communication and remote friendly working skills
We'd Love If You Have:
- Open source contributions and previous or continued involvement in open source communities
- Familiarity with Ethereum development and related technologies (web3.js, ethers.js, etc)
- Familiarity with other crypto or blockchain technologies
- Experience working at a startup
Here’s What Our Interview Process Looks Like:
Depending on calendar availability, from the first stage to the final stage, we do our best to keep the entire process to under three weeks. Our interviews take place via Zoom and typically consists of the following stages:
- Internal Recruiter Call (30 to 45 minutes)
- Meet with the Hiring Manager (30-45 minutes)
- Technical Interviews (4 x 60 minutes)
- Pagoda Values Interview (30 to 45 minutes)

In general, though, a full stack web3 developer will be responsible for: designing and building the front-end and back-end of web3 applications, as well as implementing and maintaining the underlying blockchain infrastructure
This will often involve working with a variety of different technologies and programming languages, such as Solidity for smart contract development, JavaScript and HTML for front-end development, and various blockchain protocols and frameworks. Additionally, a full stack web3 developer may also be responsible for working with the web3 community to help drive adoption and integration of web3 technologies, as well as staying up-to-date on the latest developments in the field and contributing to the broader web3 ecosystem.
