Our metaverse group helps our partners realise their metaverse ambitions. The team’s expertise encompasses creative (concept and design), production (art and content), engineering (game development and Web3) and operations (dev and live).

At Improbable, you’ll collaborate with some of the best in the industry. Together, you’ll create unique, tailored experiences that stretch the boundaries of what’s possible in digital spaces and virtual worlds – and help define what the metaverse can be.

This is an ideal role for candidates who are new to the games industry and looking to gain valuable experience in a professional studio, run by seasoned industry veterans. You should be open to new ideas and methodologies, keen to develop your skills in a production led environment, as well as being an individual who wants to be part of a diverse and creative team.

For a comprehensive overview of our Campus Programme, and information about Improbable and the interview process, please email [email protected] for a briefing pack.

Your opportunity:

    • Create ambience, sound design, and dialogue assets to industry standards.
    • Implement audio into our projects using game engines and audio middleware.
    • Engage with our proprietary technologies.
    • Learn new skills and technologies through mentoring with the audio team and independently.
    • Contribute to the overall experiential quality of our developments.

We'd like to hear from you if you identify with the following:

    • You have demonstrable skills in professional-quality sound design for linear/non-linear media (showreel essential).
    • You have experience using DAWs to create, edit, and manipulate audio.
    • You have experience using an industry-standard game engine (e.g. Unreal, Unity).
    • You have awareness of best practices in sound design for non-linear media.
    • You have awareness of current sound design features, trends, and practices for AAA games.
    • You have awareness of audio performance profiling, bug fixing, and optimisation.
    • You have awareness of CPU, memory, disk size, and streaming considerations.
    • You have critical listening skills with a keen ear capable of analysing complex aural content.
