We’re Hiring: Regional Business Development Lead, EMEA

As a Regional Business Development Lead, you’ll lead a team on its search for new opportunities, which will positively impact Talos’s long-run revenue trajectory in the region. You will primarily focus on identifying: new product areas to explore, new markets and client types, and new distribution channels.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Build a business development plan of attack for your Region
  • Establish relationships with the broader market, including prospective clients and partners by effectively understanding their current operating environment and business needs
  • Evaluate and qualify new revenue and distribution opportunities. Presenting recommendations to internal leaders and lead exploratory conversations with potential partners and customers across industries
  • Partner closely with product leads to accelerate Talos’s product portfolio through strategy development, market discovery, competitive intelligence, and more
  • Articulate business requirements and high level product requirements in collaboration with technical product teams, sales, and customer success, always taking Talos’s long term objectives into consideration
  • Develop and manage key external relationships to advance Talos’s strategic interests, improve customer experience and accelerate long term revenues
  • Stay on top of key industry trends and developments across both CeFI and DeFi
  • Proactively identify process gaps and opportunities for process improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders in sales, finance, marketing, account management, operations and more
  • Discover new target client segments or geographic targets for our existing product portfolio, while working with Marketing and Sales to refine Talos’s GTM strategy for the region
  • Work with senior management to establish new distribution channels for Talos’s current and future product suite through resellers, referrals, and technology partnerships

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of professional experience in SaaS or capital markets business development
  • We are looking for a highly passionate and enthusiastic candidate with excellent attention to detail, and a very strong understanding of digital asset and traditional financial markets
  • Ability to drive consensus and coordinate process with a divers group of cross-functional stakeholders in Sales, Product, Marketing, Engineering, Finance and more
  • Must be a proactive self-starter with the ability to work autonomously in a fast paced startup environment
  • Can translate complex information into easily consumable insights across business leaders
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to build business cases and analyze / model key economic drivers
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Based locally
