Fogo is hiring a Content Lead to oversee our content strategy, from concept to execution, to drive brand growth. The ideal candidate has experience creating compelling video content, writing technical articles, and is deeply familiar with the DeFi space.

About Our Team and Your Role

We’re a well-rounded team: half of us are tech whizzes, while the other half excel in building partnerships with data providers, developers, and the DeFi community. Communication is key to our network-driven approach.

Remote Work: Our team is spread across the globe, from the US and South America to Europe and Asia, with an optional office in Porto, Portugal. Remote work is the norm here.

Language Proficiency: English proficiency is essential, as it’s our primary language of communication.

Startup-level speed: We thrive in the dynamic DeFi space and love adaptable problem solvers who are eager to meet the evolving needs of the market.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a content strategy that positions Fogo as the premier on-chain trading destination.

  • Create high-impact content (videos, blog posts, case studies, etc.) tailored to retail & trader audiences.

  • Manage content distribution across multiple channels to drive consistent messaging & maximum reach.

  • Collaborate with the engineering team & ecosystem partners to translate technical concepts into accessible narratives.

  • Measure effectiveness and utilize data-driven experimentation to refine content.

  • Optimize creative workflows across internal stakeholders & external agencies to scale content production.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Proven track record of creating viral or high-engagement content in the DeFi space

  • Deep understanding of DeFi protocols, blockchain technology, and market trends

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a portfolio showcasing technical and narrative-driven content

  • Comfortable with being the face of a major Layer 1 blockchain

  • Exhibits extreme ownership & can successfully manage campaigns end-to-end
