Preferred qualifications:
- 4+ years experience in software development in one of more programming languages (such as C++, Rust, JavaScript & Python)
- Degree in Computer Science, Math or related field
Great to have experience:
- Solana blockchain (such as Anchor & Solana’s web3.js)
- Rust (Familiarity with other low level programming languages such as C++ is also good)
- Writing financial, scientific or mathematical software
- Passion for blockchain, protocol design and DeFi
- Smart contracts experience
About Hedge:
We’re building Solana’s largest crypto-collateralized stablecoin by offering the most competitive margin terms - with our 0% interest product being our flagship one. We started by winning the Chainlink Prize at the Solana Ignition Hackathon and have now raised from industry leading investors. We’re a small, highly technical team with past experience at Google & startups with successful exits. We’re looking to hire great engineers who are excited about DeFi and Web3.
As one of the first hires, we’re looking for engineers who can learn fast and are excited to play a core role in influencing the direction of a DeFi protocol.
We’re based in NYC and Miami though we are totally fine with a remote position.
What you’ll be doing:
- Being involved in protocol design
- Writing simple, high quality and secure smart contracts
- Write the libraries to interface with smart contracts
- Contributing back to some of the Solana codebase
- Working with security auditing firms to ensure safety of code
