About This Role – Analyst, Spot Operations

Genesis is seeking a motivated Analyst who will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day spot operations tasks. This role is for someone who is passionate about the digital currency space and has experience in an operational role. This role reports directly to VP, Spot Operations.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively interface with counterparties on a day-to-day basis regarding inquiries and coordinating trade settlements
• Collaborate with traders on inventory management and assist in secure movement of funds
• Perform daily and monthly reconciliation of cash and crypto asset balances
• Help identify and create new operational processes to more efficiently carry-out daily tasks
• Work with various internal stakeholders to support business goals
• Provide front-line support for Genesis’ assets and help create a secure environment for the movement Genesis’ and our counterparties’ funds

Requirements:

• 1-3 years in traditional finance, capital markets and/or digital currencies, preferably in the Operations space
• Experience with digital currency transactions and/or bank transfers
• Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple deadlines
• Demonstrated passion for cryptocurrency markets
• Ability to consistently deliver results
• Understanding of trading/settlement platforms
• Experience working in a regulated environment
