Rust Engineer
What you might be doing:
- Design, develop and maintain the backend services for integration between our trading system and various decentralized exchanges (DEXes) on the Solana blockchain written in Rust
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and functionalities.
- Optimize existing systems for scalability and performance.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards of code quality and reliability.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and advancements in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space.
What you might bring:
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Rust programming with a solid understanding of its ecosystems.
- Experience with blockchain technology (prior experience with Solana blockchain being a strong plus)
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-native technologies.
- Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English
- Understanding of decentralized exchanges (DEX) and their offer compared to traditional financial systems
- Interest in cryptocurrencies and the broader digital assets market.
- Previous experience in developing DeFi applications
- Prior experience with other programming languages such as Scala or Python
