YOUR ROLE

Localcoin is looking for a Director of Sales to join our fast growing team! As a Director of Sales, you will be responsible for scaling our sales team, building strategic sales plans for our expansion across North America and collaborating with our executive team to execute on company wide goals.

This role is based out of Toronto, Ontario. Frequent travel across North America will be required.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Build and scale a team of top sales talent across Canada and the United States
  • Build mid to long term strategic direction for our Bitcoin ATM expansion within North America
  • Develop and execute monthly incentive plans for the sales team on a regular basis
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to enhance the Sales compensation structure to motivate and inspire sales executives to exceed sales targets to maximize company’s goals
  • Collaborate with internal departments to execute on company revenue targets including conducting market research, data analysis and planning
  • Review and approve all incoming proposals from the Sales team to ensure alignment with company goals and expectations to mitigate business risk
  • Implement new sales processes and system flows to increase efficiency for all sales operations on an ongoing basis
  • Support Sales Representatives with negotiation and individual sales strategies when needed
  • Work closely with our Marketing team to implement go to market strategy for new growth areas, and improve performance.
  • Investigate areas of underperformance against the sales plan, provide feedback to team members and make recommendations to the executive team to cover the shortfalls
  • Partner with Sr Sales Executives to oversee team performance while motivating and inspiring employees to meet sales targets to achieve individual and company goals.

THIS IS YOU

  • Extensive Sales experience, with experience scaling sales teams, preferably with Series A-C startups
  • Experience developing sales strategies, compensation plans and tools in a dynamic, high-growth environment
  • Ability to thrive in a entrepreneurial environment and to adapt to change easily
  • People first leader with a passion for coaching and driving success in the Sales team
  • A familiarity with RFP process
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively to individuals over the phone, in person, or through other communication channels
  • Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen
  • Strong listening, negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather/analyze large amounts of data to drive performance
  • Diverse CRM knowledge. (Salesforce, hubspot, Jira etc.)
  • Have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
  • Ability to travel across North America on a frequent basis

The salesperson would also be responsible for negotiating contracts and pricing with clients, as well as providing support and guidance throughout the sales process
