Account Manager for Payment Service
What you'll do
- Identify, approach, and onboard new merchants across various industries to use our payment services (e.g., POS terminals, QR payments, e-wallets).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing merchants to drive usage, retention, and satisfaction.
- Negotiate merchant discount rates (MDRs), commercial terms, and service agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product, tech, and operations) to support smooth onboarding and integration.
- Serve as the main point of contact for merchant queries, support, and escalations.
- Monitor account and portfolio performance, track transaction volumes, and identify growth opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs in the payments and fintech space.
What we expect from you
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in merchant acquisition, business development, or account management, preferably in fintech, banking, payments, or e-commerce.
- Proven experience in closing deals and managing a high-volume portfolio.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with a strong drive to exceed targets and KPIs.
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to coordinate with international partners and stakeholders.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas and receiving positive customer feedback.
