Accountant Generalist - CPA

Today, Luxor offers a full-stack suite of software, hardware, financial, and energy services that power over 3,000 bitcoin mining datacenter operators (~500,000 machines, 1GW+). Our platform enables miners to monetize their compute, optimize hardware through custom firmware, source and resell machines, hedge revenue with derivatives, and manage their energy strategy—all in one integrated ecosystem. Luxor is a private company that is completing its financial audits, as such we are looking at building out our accounting team.

This role will report to our Accounting Manager. This is a remote role. The candidate must be based in the Americas time zone.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting at a big 4 firm.
  • Audit and GAAP reporting experience.
  • Experience with financial reporting requirements in the U.S.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Python preferred.
  • Experience with cryptocurrency wallets and transacting via Blockchains.
  • Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas and jurisdictions.
Responsibilities:

  • Preparing financial reports for internal and external use.
  • Perform general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and analysis.
  • Assist with monthly close and balance sheet reconciliation
  • Assist with establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles
  • Assist in the development of financial processes to support new business requirements
  • Improve systems and procedures and suggest corrective actions
  • Ready to work on a wide-range of operational tasks.
