The Role:
Our market-neutral fund is expanding our technical team to build and maintain the systems that power automated strategies, security monitoring, and portfolio intelligence across centralized and decentralized finance. We operate at the intersection of yield and quantitative on-chain strategies. Strong technical infrastructure and smart automation are the keys to scaling performance and risk control.
You'll join a small, high-impact team of engineers and strategists. Your work will directly shape how we execute credit and liquidity strategies on-chain, monitor security and operational risks, and integrate data pipelines across centralized and decentralized venues.
This role is ideal for a technically strong, crypto-native engineer who thrives in fast-paced, research-driven environments and wants to work at the frontier of blockchain credit markets.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Development
- Design, implement, and maintain automated strategies for credit, liquidity, and yield generation across CeFi and DeFi venues
- Build and manage execution systems that interface with centralized exchanges, on-chain protocols, and yield platforms
- Contribute to the development of monitoring, alerting, and data visualization tools to ensure robustness and performance of strategies
Infrastructure & Monitoring
- Develop and maintain secure data pipelines and backend infrastructure for strategy execution and monitoring
- Set up and manage observability tools (Grafana, PagerDuty, custom dashboards) for both trading systems and on-chain operations
- Work with the research team to design APIs and data models for tracking portfolio risk, market exposure, and liquidity metrics
Security & Risk Systems
- Build systems for real-time security monitoring of wallets, smart contracts, and protocol dependencies
- Collaborate with the risk team to automate alerting and risk mitigation processes
- Contribute to internal tooling for auditing and compliance tracking of DeFi credit positions
Collaboration & Research
- Work closely with investment and research teams to prototype and deploy new strategies
- Evaluate and integrate new DeFi protocols and CeFi platforms with an emphasis on security and reliability
- Support data analysis, backtesting, and research efforts by building efficient Python-based analytics pipelines
- Strong programming background in Python (required); Rust experience is a plus
- Deep understanding of blockchain infrastructure, DeFi protocols, and smart contract mechanics
- Experience with databases (SQL, Postgres, or equivalent) and designing scalable data architectures
- Proficiency with monitoring and alerting tools (Grafana, PagerDuty, Prometheus, etc.)
- Familiarity with building or maintaining on-chain trading, lending, or yield strategies
- Strong grasp of systems design, API integrations, and security principles in blockchain contexts
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret complex on-chain and off-chain datasets
- Self-starter attitude and comfort working in a small, high-performance team
Bonus Points
- Experience contributing to or auditing smart contracts (Solidity, Move, or Rust-based)
- Exposure to credit markets, structured finance, or yield-bearing protocols
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and containerized deployments
- Private Health Insurance
- Paid Time Off
- Work From Home
- Training & Development
- Performance Bonus
What does a solidity developer do?
A Solidity developer is a programmer who specializes in writing smart contracts using the Solidity programming language
Solidity is a contract-oriented, high-level language for implementing smart contracts on various blockchain platforms, such as Ethereum
The responsibilities of a Solidity developer can vary depending on the specific project they are working on, but some common tasks they might be responsible for include:
- Writing and testing Solidity code for smart contracts, Debugging and troubleshooting issues with existing smart contracts
- Collaborating with other members of the development team to ensure that the contracts are implemented according to the project's specifications
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in the Solidity and blockchain communities, and incorporating new best practices and techniques into their work
- Participating in code reviews and contributing to the development of coding standards and guidelines for the project.
