Seeking an exceptional founding crypto-experienced engineer to maintain our traditional backend architecture and develop smart contracts/onchain data tools.
Responsibilities
- Building and interacting with web2 and web3 APIs, backend databases and servers for coordinating requests.
- Owning the development of contracts, overseeing any necessary auditing processes and building off of best-in-class public contracts/protocols (UniswapX, Across architecture).
- Innovating on intent standards, possibly collaborating with others protocols or leveraging existing ones.
- Thinking through our onchain and decentralization roadmap - optimistic verification, ZK-coprocessors for data feeds into contracts, validator design.
- Shipping fast, usable code with a focus on iterative growth rather than in-depth sprints.
- 3+ years of experience in engineering roles at web3 organizations involving production-level development OR exceptional internships/projects.
- A decent understanding of the tech described above (not brand new to concepts like intents, have done previous onchain data work, etc.).
- Familiar with Solidity, Rust, Go, and/or other popular web3 frameworks. Comfortable with traditional backend languages, tools, and DevOps work (Python, Django, Postgres, AWS, Celery, Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Rust, Go).

Solidity is a contract-oriented, high-level language for implementing smart contracts on various blockchain platforms, such as Ethereum
The responsibilities of a Solidity developer can vary depending on the specific project they are working on, but some common tasks they might be responsible for include:
- Writing and testing Solidity code for smart contracts, Debugging and troubleshooting issues with existing smart contracts
- Collaborating with other members of the development team to ensure that the contracts are implemented according to the project's specifications
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in the Solidity and blockchain communities, and incorporating new best practices and techniques into their work
- Participating in code reviews and contributing to the development of coding standards and guidelines for the project.
