About the Role

As the Head of Distribution, CeDeFi you will be responsible for partnering with the CLL ecosystem to build out the Chainlink Distribution ecosystem across DeFi, Centralised Finance, Fintech including the various partners required to facilitate our ability to onboard and scale adoption of Institutional stablecoins and RWAs. This role requires a deep understanding of both TradFi and DeFi, along with exceptional business development, relationship management, and technical acumen. You will act as the owner delivering strategy through execution for all parts of the distribution value chain including liquidity providers (e.g. market makers, chain foundations, crypto funding sources) and utility venues (e.g. CEXs, DeFi protocols, prime brokers etc), connecting issuers with a fully integrated distribution strategy to facilitate seamless and accelerated onboarding into this nascent vertical.

Experience/Skills

Must Have

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in institutional finance, business development, or related fields, with a strong understanding of TradFi markets and infrastructure

  • Experience working for or with market makers and liquidity sources in web3, with a deep understanding of and relationships with key players that manage liquidity flow in web3

  • Demonstrated knowledge of DeFi protocols, blockchain technology, and the broader Web3 ecosystem

Should Have

  • Relationships – should have a rolodex of past experiences, deals, and contacts that could call on to explain and understand our offering

  • Leadership experience: Proven ability to build and execute strategy through team development and productivity (doing more with less, to grow individuals capacity and capability))

  • 2+ years experience working in web3 environments or with decentralized applications (DApps), smart contracts, and blockchain technology.

  • Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective market development strategies.

Nice to Have

  • Tokenization industry expertise - have a strong understanding of the Institutional RWA landscape and/or digital asset management, including an understanding of potential barriers to scale

  • Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment.

  • Regulatory Understanding: Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements for institutional DeFi.

  • Technical Acumen: Ability to understand and discuss technical aspects of blockchain technology and DeFi protocols.

  • Business acumen: Understanding of business drivers of various participants and experience putting together multi-partite deals

Nice to Have

  • Located in EMEA or AMERS timezones

  • Strong technical understanding - ability to read and comprehend code (e.g. Solidity) and navigate large scale software development projects
