We're looking for experienced smart contract engineers to play a crucial role in developing and securing the Optimism Collective's blockchain infrastructure. As a smart contract engineer at OP Labs, you'll lead the design, implementation, and optimization of smart contracts that form the backbone of our ecosystem.
What are the role responsibilities?
- Develop, test, and deploy smart contracts that secure billions of dollars.
- Help push forward the state-of-the-art for how smart contracts are developed and deployed.
- Keep up-to-date with the bleeding edge of EVM changes and proposals.
- Work with other teams and other disciplines within OP Labs, and with our ecosystem of external developers and partners.
What skills do you bring?
- Proven experience as a Solidity Developer with a strong portfolio of deployed smart contracts.
- In-depth knowledge of the EVM and Ethereum development tools.
- Proficiency in Solidity, with a deep understanding of smart contract development patterns.
- Strong understanding of security practices in smart contract development.
- Strong understanding of cryptographic principles.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
