About The Role

We are expanding our Strategy & Finance group.

This strategy analyst will support the Strategy & Finance group with respect to corporate strategy, including high level strategic initiatives, partnerships, M&A, venture capital investments, token design, FP&A, analytics, and sell-side relations. This includes financial modeling and analysis, research, structuring deals and partnerships, drafting memos, meeting with counterparties, observing case studies / precedents, analyzing data, attending industry conferences, and more.

This is a highly unique role that will touch a broad spectrum of initiatives and will have a front row seat to the evolution of web3. The strategy analyst will get significant exposure to senior leadership + counterparties (including investors, exchanges/marketplaces, research firms, and other web3 protocols) and have a major impact on category-defining deals.

NOTE: THIS JOB IS FULLY REMOTE, CANDIDATES MUST RESIDE IN THE UNITED STATES.

• 3+ years of experience in finance or strategy roles. We will consider candidates from buy-side investment firms, management consulting, sell-side securities research, investment banking, and corporate development/strategy backgrounds.
• Significant experience with financial modeling, including the ability to prepare and update financial models without supervision.
• Deeply analytical with an ability to think from first principles instead of relying on templates.
• Creativity and resourcefulness in finding solutions that can get things across the finish line.
• A self-starter with a high degree of drive to make things happen in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, high attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Passion for web3 and NFTs.
