We are looking for a VP of Crypto Native Marketing Strategy to lead crypto-native marketing strategy for Ava Labs. This is a senior role reporting directly to the CMO and this person will work closely with key executives from all verticals within Ava Labs. You’ll be in charge of developing new narratives to support the Ava Labs mission of digitizing the world’s assets on Avalanche. This is the ideal role for crypto native professionals that would like to develop strong, appropriate messaging to inform and influence online conversation.
What You Will Do

  • Work closely with senior leadership on content roadmaps for strategy behind upcoming announcements and developments on Avalanche
  • Collaborate cross functionally with all verticals at Ava Labs to make sure that messaging and storytelling is on brand and accurate
  • Analyze viral trends and social media sentiment to measure the success of current marketing efforts
  • Craft enticing narratives that inform and influence positive conversations online while supporting Ava Labs’ mission of digitizing the world’s assets on Avalanche
  • Engage with the online community through paid, owned, and earned media outlets
  • Collaborate with peers to distribute key narratives through paid, owned and earned media

What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or related field
  • Notable experience working with major dApps and/or EVM-compatible L1’s
  • Extensive Twitter experience, ideally with a following >5k
  • Track record of success in establishing viral narratives while in a marketing, communications and/or community mgt role
  • Prior history of engaging and driving relationships/partnerships within Avalanche Community
  • Subject matter expert on layer one blockchain technology
  • Active user experience on-chain (DeFi, NFTs, Gaming, etc.
