We are looking for a compliance officer to join us to accelerate the organization and guide the early structure and regulatory ethos of the company as at the earliest stage. Who We are Looking For
Rain is seeking an experienced analytical and high integrity person to join our operations team. The right candidate will be someone that is driven, versatile and self motivated. As a company at the cutting edge of financial tooling, our team deals with interesting problems and challenges on a regular basis. We are looking for smart and talented people to help manage the customer journey and the challenges they face throughout the onboarding cycle and as customers start using our products. Successful candidates can look forward to working closely with the operations and teams to deliver positive customer outcomes while helping our company manage risk.
What you will work on:
- You will be one of the core members of our operations team with the opportunity to contribute to various pieces of our organizational growth. The person in this role will report directly to the founders with opportunities to grow adjacent skills across the company
- Create and maintain strategic initiatives governing customer experience
- Develop and design customer lifecycle activities including but not limited to onboarding, approval, and management
- Actionalize policies and procedures by utilizing internal tooling and third party vendors
- Collaborate with legal and compliance resources to ensure coverage and compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements
- Develop and refine rules that the company can utilize to automate customer onboarding and lifecycle management
- Contribute to the firm’s risk management efforts
- Assist with the investigation of fraud and restricted activities, as necessary
- Manage the application and ongoing processes of any necessary licenses or registrations across the company
- BA/BS required; advanced degree is a plus
- 2+ years of operations or related experience at a bank, financial services firm, or financial technology company.
- Proven track record of complex problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong analytical skills. Effective leader and team player.
- Experience with customer orchestration tools and services
- Risk management exposure/experience
