What is the role? 

We are currently hiring for a Director of Portfolio Strategy to work within Digital Currency Group's newest subsidiary. The new subsidiary remains in stealth mode, but will be working with the world's leading crypto, blockchain, and DeFi entrepreneurs and investors.

In this role, you will be a crucial member of our Wealth Management team. The Director of Portfolio Strategy's scope will encompass asset allocation, investment analytics, portfolio modeling and strategy, market analysis, and risk management.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with the Wealth Management team on asset allocation, investment strategy, investment selection, due diligence, monitoring, and reporting
  • Executing portfolio modeling, valuation analysis and synergy evaluation on potential and existing direct investment opportunities
  • Staying apprised of the market in areas where direct investments are made or are being considered and assessing market performance, trends, regulatory changes, and reports on findings
  • Producing and updating materials and performance reports related to portfolios
  • Delivering holistic portfolio strategy utilizing solutions beyond investing including financial planning and banking and lending
  • Contributing to the investment research as needed

What we expect:

Expertise in portfolio modeling
  • 7-10 years of experience managing portfolios within wealth management
  • Demonstrated understanding of portfolio modeling and strategy
  • Deep knowledge of multi-asset class portfolio strategy & experience with UHNW clients
  • Deep understanding of the market and current trends
  • Expertise in risk management
  • Investment experience with digital assets is a plus
