Role Overview
We are looking to hire a Director of Brand Strategy and Design to lead Consensys through a period of unparalleled growth. This position requires multilevel guidance to inform decisions of brand architecture, positioning and communications strategy, design systems and overall brand experience. You will oversee execution of design across our business pillars and brand management across our product suite. As a design leader in the blockchain space, you will be privy to cutting edge products, and be on the front lines of company communication and strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of our visual language through strategic thinking and hands-on execution to deliver exceptional work, while shaping creative processes
- Brand manager across our business pillars and products, informing decisions on brand architecture and system evolution
- Inspire, mentor, and scale a team of designers and contributors
- Partner with marketing leads to plan and execute creative campaigns that align to our brand narrative and audience
- Elevate internal marketing efforts, across our website, social media, blog and newsletters
- Give direction and oversight to out-of-house agency partners
- Craft presentations that go above and beyond the expectations
- Lead new designs for the ConsenSys website and proposal of improvements for user experience
Ideal Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent practical experience
- 10+ Years of experience, including agencies
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of designers, developers, content strategists, engineers, and product managers
- Experience running branding initiatives from positioning and architecture strategy to implementation
- Cross disciplinary expertise, moving between user experience, user interface, content mapping to brand systems design.
- Managerial experience, having led teams and shaping designers
- Strong presentation skills and written skills
- Clear POV with confident strategic insights and thought starters
- Extremely Organized
- Critical thinking and attention to detail
- Expert typographic skills
- Up to date with innovations and trends
- Expertise in Figma and Adobe Suite applications
