Head of Game Development - $250k - $350k total compensation - NY based
Plexus has partnered with an immersive AAA gaming studio that has a diverse portfolio of traditional, social and web3/metaverse gaming titles. Their gaming projects are shaped by the input of the gaming community, adding a unique and engaging dimension to their offerings.
They are looking for a Head of Game Development to join the team to manage and oversee the portfolio of gaming projects that they have released and also in the pipeline. They have a preference to candidates that can come into their collaborative and fun NY office and will help with relocation to NY for the right profile!
Responsibilties:
- Be proactive, hands on and manage across a few gaming projects
- Oversee and manage the builds of upcoming and current gaming titles
- Be adaptable and have a start-up mindset with priorities shifting from project to project at times. Will expected to wear multiple hats.
- Be able to get hands dirty and dig into code when needed (Unity mostly).
Requirements:
- Experience in blockchain/crypto is ideal (Any Solidity/Rust experience is a bonus)
- Proven experience in the gaming sector, managing or developing a AAA game.
- Some experience working in startups would be beneficial
- Experience in game development is needed to be able to check code and be hands on at times.
