Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Account Manager to join our dynamic team. As an Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the successful implementation of our cutting-edge web3 projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with a strong background in deal execution, project management, and a passion for emerging technologies.

What You Get To Do

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies
  • Track project progress, monitor milestones, and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project outcomes
  • Assist with regular project meetings alongside project-specific Product Managers, providing updates, and facilitating effective communication among team members
  • Coordinate with senior (C-Suite & VP-level) potential clients to explore new business opportunities.

Client Collaboration and Communication:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and managing expectations
  • Conduct regular client meetings to gather requirements, provide project updates, and address concerns
  • Actively engage in client consultations, demonstrating a deep understanding of web3 technologies and their potential applications
  • Collaborate with clients to define project success criteria and ensure deliverables meet their expectations

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, scope statements, and status reports
  • Develop and deliver account-related presentations to internal and external stakeholders based on core KPIs and success criteria
  • Utilize Excel and other tools to analyze project data, track key performance indicators, and generate reports
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on project progress, budget utilization, and resource allocation


Requirements

What It Takes To Be Successful

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
  • Proven experience in a deal execution, project manager, and client management role
  • Proficiency in creating presentations using tools like PowerPoint, Keynote, and Google Slides
  • Advanced skills in Excel or similar software for data analysis and reporting
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders


Bonus If You Have

  • Background working in financial models/spreadsheets, creating scopes of work, and delivering high-quality presentations to key stakeholders
  • Familiarity with web3 technologies and blockchain concepts
  • Familiarity with big data, machine learning, and AI concepts

For employees hired to work remotely or onsite from New York or California, Insomnia Labs is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range is specific to New York or California, and takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are reviewed when making a hiring decision, such as years of experience, skills, and other business needs. A reasonable base salary range estimate for this position is $85,000 - $115,000. While we believe competitive compensation is a critical aspect of you deciding to join us, we do hope you spend some time considering the exciting work we are doing.
