About the Opportunity

We are seeking an Associate Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong operations and technical background, and proficiency in English along with at least one additional language. The primary responsibilities of this role include providing exceptional internal support and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Trading knowledge is highly desirable for this position. This position provides an excellent opportunity to become an account manager or business development professional in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional internal support
  • Utilize strong communication skills, oral and written, in English and at least one other language to work effectively with internal stakeholders
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve operational issues and escalate complex problems in a timely manner
  • Support both Business Development and Account Management teams to handle daily operational work
What We Look For In You:
  • Strong operational / middle office background
  • Analytical skills to diagnose and solve problems.
  • Proficiency in English and at least one other language
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with internal stakeholders
  • Willing to learn

What does an account manager do?

Account managers are responsible for managing relationships with specific clients or customer accounts

Their primary role is to ensure that their clients are satisfied with the products or services they are receiving, and to identify and resolve any issues or problems that may arise

In order to effectively manage their accounts, account managers typically perform a variety of tasks, including:

  • Communicating with clients to understand their needs and goals
  • Developing and implementing strategies to meet those needs
  • Handling any problems or issues that arise, and working to resolve them in a timely and satisfactory manner
  • Negotiating contracts and pricing with clients
  • Monitoring the performance of the account and making recommendations for improvement
  • Upselling and cross-selling products or services to clients
  • Providing regular reports to clients on the status of their accounts
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
