About the Job
The Operation Analyst in the Mining Performance Assurance (MPA) Department is responsible for supporting the daily operations of global data centers, ensuring the stability and efficiency of mining equipment and related assets. This role focuses on data-driven monitoring, incident tracking, and process execution, contributing to operational excellence and strategic objectives.
What you will be responsible for:
- Operational Data Monitoring: Monitor and analyze the operational data from global data centers, including equipment performance, uptime, and energy consumption, to ensure optimal functionality.
- Incident Tracking: Record and analyze equipment failures or service disruptions, coordinate with relevant teams for resolution, and document root causes to prevent recurrence.
- Cycle Reporting: Generate periodic reports summarizing key operational metrics (e.g., equipment availability, incident frequency), providing insights for management and stakeholders.
- Asset Management: Track and manage mining equipment and related assets, ensuring accurate inventory records, lifecycle monitoring, and compliance with maintenance schedules.
- Process Execution: Execute standardized processes, such as equipment maintenance schedules and asset inspections, ensuring compliance with operational protocols.
- Project-Based Tasks: Support strategic projects (e.g., data center deployments or process improvements), assisting with data analysis, coordination, and task execution.
How you will stand out:
- Bilingual Proficiency: Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills to support global operations.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) to monitor metrics and generate actionable insights.
- Process Knowledge: Preference for candidates with ITIL, PMP, or related certifications, demonstrating understanding of operational frameworks and project management.
- Experience: 2-5 years of work experience in data analysis or operation analysis, preferably in crypto industry, data center operations, or related fields
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel to different locations for business trips to learn and understand tasks performed by on-site personnel, enhancing operational insight and collaboration.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills to manage data, incidents, and processes accurately.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including technical, asset management, and customer-facing units.
