Responsibilities

• Oversee a global Software Engineering team, ensuring all development efforts are high quality and our blockchain infrastructure runs efficiently 
• Partner with Management to define the technical roadmap, while leading the development of current and future products from conception to delivery 
• Oversee, mentor and motivate the team to be successful in their positions
• Ensure the team meets project deadlines and company goals 
• Monitor the teams performance and productivity and offer support where necessary 
• Implement best practices for software development by staying up to date with the latest blockchain technologies to drive innovation 
• Handle any critical technical problems and strategically deliver high performing solutions 
• Work cross-functionally with the Business team to define and support field requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field 
• 8+ years of experience in software development 
• Previous experience with managing a team of engineers 
• Deep understanding of blockchain technology 
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills 
• Ability to work in a face paced environment
