The Role

Vanna Labs is seeking a talented Smart Contract Software Engineer to join our world-class team. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with writing smart contracts in Solidity, building decentralized applications on EVM-based blockchains and has a deep understanding of blockchain environments. You will play a critical role in designing and implementing core protocols, useful libraries, and tooling for Vanna. 

  • Design, develop, and implement smart contracts and protocols that interface with Vanna and other chains

  • Manage lifecycle of smart-contracts, from design to post-release

  • Research and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in blockchain technology and smart contract best practices

  • Work closely with blockchain platforms and protocols, including oracle feeds, cross-chain protocols, and related technologies

  • Participate in architectural decisions and provide innovative solutions to our unique technical challenges

Qualifications

  • Proven experience developing smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps) using Solidity

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in the blockchain space

  • Deep understanding of the EVM and adjacent technologies

  • Solid understanding of cryptographic principles and security best practices in blockchain development

  • Proficiency in software development methodologies, tools, and best practices

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal

  • Thrives in autonomous and collaborative environments
