Job Description
As a Game UX/UI Designer at Illuvium, your primary focus will be on creating engaging user experiences across multiple games. You’ll collaborate closely with the design team, UI artists, and programmers to ensure seamless integration of UI within the gameplay. Using Figma, you will design and optimize in-game UX and UI flows prioritizing a user-centric approach to enhance the overall player experience.

Responsibilities
- Design wireframes and interactive prototypes to define intuitive UX flows and layouts.
- Collaborate with the design team and UI programmers to create visually compelling and user-friendly interfaces.
- Develop and refine UX strategies that improve gameplay experiences and user interaction.
- Ensure consistency in UI design by maintaining and adhering to design guidelines across all games.
- Work closely with programmers to seamlessly integrate UI components into game logic.
- Optimize UX and UI to enhance accessibility and overall game engagement.
- Create and document design specifications, interactions, and implementation guidelines.
- Participate in quality assurance testing to ensure UX and UI elements function as intended.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles, particularly for games.
- Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools to communicate design ideas.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with programmers, artists, and other stakeholders.
- A robust portfolio demonstrating game UX/UI design, including user-friendly and visually appealing game interfaces.
- Proven experience in a Game UX/UI Designer or similar role, preferably in the gaming industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Figma.
- Experience creating UI elements for AAA games.
- 5+ years of experience in the gaming industry.
