Job Description
As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team that works on pushing the boundaries of our state-of-the-art high-frequency trading platform. You will work on software that interacts with exchanges globally and gain a deep understanding of how information flows across the financial systems. This is a highly selective opportunity for talented individuals that are looking to join a leading team in a fast growing quantitative trading industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of our core libraries that support high-frequency trading strategies
- Work on optimizing performance and expanding the reach of our trading platform that collects data from and sends orders to exchanges around the world
- Leverage advanced algorithms and data structures to improve the speed and accuracy of our tick by tick backtesting research platform
- Create tools to deploy, monitor and analyze our production processes crucial to the firm’s success
- Interact directly with traders to communicate technology changes, manage incidents and troubleshoot problems
- Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews and internal sharing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of strong *hands-on* programming experience using C++14 (not C->
- Strong understanding of computer systems, multithreading, networks, and performance optimization
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong written communication skills and intermediate English skills
- Passion and curiosity for quant trading and cryptocurrency markets
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience on low-latency C++
- Experience on developing low latency systems
