Tangany, based in Munich, is a highly innovative fintech company which offers a market leading b2b solution for the custody of digital assets on the blockchain (e.g. crypto currencies, tokenized securities, NFTs). Our solution is already employed by more than 40 institutional customers. Tangany is regulated by the German federal financial supervisory authority, BaFin, and is ISO 27001 certified.

We are currently looking for an Information Security Officer (ISO) to help us further advance our IT Compliance framework. As we are a young and fast growing company, we are looking for a person with a hands-on mentality. As part of our compliance team, your work would cover the full range of topics according to BAIT and BSI IT-Grundschutz.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate closely with the CISO in all regulatory aspects of information security
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in the dynamic crypto fintech environment
• Develop policies and processes to help us advance further our compliance framework and the ISMS
• Help us develop our IT risk framework and mitigate risks
• Establish and document IT Compliance controls
• Organize and perform employee training to improve awareness for information security across the company
• Monitor and implement upcoming EU regulations such as Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA)

Qualifikation

• University degree (Uni/FH) in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or Business Law with specialization in information security
• 3 to 5 years professional experience in the field of information security and ISO/IEC 27001
• Certification in information security (e.g. CISA, CISM) is a plus
• Strong knowledge of banking specific regulations (MaRisk/BAIT) is a plus
• Analytical thinking
• Strong ownership
• Skilled in prioritization and effort estimation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German (for communication with authorities); strong skills in English preferred
