Meta Reality Labs is looking for a Creative Director to create groundbreaking, culture-defining work across all advertising and marketing touch points. This role will partner with marketers, producers and researchers to develop creative on behalf of Reality Labs brands, ensuring a consistent visual language and identity through all touch points. Our ideal candidate will be a highly strategic thinker with a proven track record for leading efforts to execute across film, experiential marketing, social media, web, out-of-home, and events.The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative, unstructured environment is critical. This person must be comfortable guiding teams, agencies and/or production partners and be willing to roll up their sleeves to do the work when necessary.
Creative Director Responsibilities:
- Oversee the strategy and creative direction of consumer facing Meta Quest
- Further develop the Meta Quest brand
- Manage development of creative executions across all channels that strongly resonate with the local market while maintaining consistency for the brand
- Partner with creative agencies as well as roll up sleeves to develop original breakthrough ideas for a variety of marketing touch-points
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams across all workstreams to influence and align on business efforts. Cross-functional teams include: Marketing, comms planning, organic social and influencer, media
- 10+ years of experience as a Creative Director, building global consumer brands
- People management experience coaching and developing team members
- Experience developing and managing consumer marketing programs in an integrated marketing environment
- Experience working with data & insights
- Creative Direction experience across the full palette of creative expression: TV, digital, experiential, and ideas that drive earned media
- Communication and presentation skills to build relationships with internal leadership and manage their expectations
- Experience working on and interest in gaming and music projects
- Experience pursuing emerging technologies
- Future-first mindset, and experience creating in new platforms. This may include, but is not limited to: augmented, virtual or mixed reality, gaming, Web3, AI, NFTs, or avatars
- Experience creating work on behalf of technology clients
