About the role

Core Banking is the BVNK business unit dedicated to building the infrastructure to enable fiat banking and payments use cases. We work on everything from fiat on ramping and off ramping to 3rd party payments, embedded payments and more.

As a Manual QA Analyst you would be expected to use product specifications and existing functionality to build test plans for new and existing features, ensure business requirements are met via manual testing, work with stakeholders across different teams to have test runs executed in both production and non-production environments.

About you:

This role could be a great opportunity if you:

  • Are excited by complex problems in a constantly evolving industry
  • Are comfortable with a fast paced and often ambiguous environment
  • Are proficient at using product specifications and existing functionality to create test plans for new and existing features.
  • Are able to ensure business requirements are met via manual testing.
  • Are comfortable with executing test plans on lower (non production) environments during the development lifecycle.
  • Can collaborate with stakeholders to ensure test plans are executed in production.
  • Have experience in triaging bugs to identify the correct team to report them to.
  • Build a complete and descriptive process on how to re-create issues identified.
  • Use a combination of screenshots, internal tooling, logs, dashboards, database queries to provide evidence that test cases have passed.
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills, able to work independently or in a team.
  • Possess a good understanding of financial services, particularly in payments and trading.
  • Are experienced in using test management platforms such as TestRail or Allure TestOps
  • Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills.
