About Your Team
As a Senior Manager on the Treasury team, you will work on mission-critical treasury and cash management processes, including asset and liability management (ALM). This role reports to the Director of Treasury and will afford an expansive view of the entire company.
Your Mission
- Partner with Institutional Trading and Lending, Middle Office Ops, Credit, Risk, and Product teams to further develop scalable treasury and ALM processes that ensure our liquidity meets the needs of the business
- Forecast and report on key balance sheet metrics including fiat and crypto liquidity, asset utilization and Net Interest Margins
- Propose and implement balance sheet optimization strategies and operational enhancements
- Review and optimize our system validations, transaction flows, and reconciliations in conjunction with Middle Office Ops and Accounting
- Assist with new operational working groups, playing a strategic role in the implementation of cash and crypto routing in support of new products, assets/currencies, and operational processes
- Manage complex problems on short notice while maintaining competing priorities
- Oversee an increasingly complex portfolio of cryptocurrency holdings and investments
- Review existing crypto and fiat accounts and assist with administration and access controls for these platforms. Spearhead new account creation.
- Bring ALM/Treasury expertise to a fairly nascent, growing team
Your Expertise
- 10+ years of relevant Treasury/ALM experience; ideally within a bank or similar financial institution (this could also include work in a liquidity risk role)
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Finance, or related quantitative field
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills with experience managing large data sets and presenting analysis to non-finance team members
- Experience in cashflow forecasting
- Solid understanding of liquidity risk and management best practices
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-finance team members
- Team player – willingness to pitch in and assist non-Treasury colleagues on tangential projects as we work towards our shared mission
- Demonstrated ability to see processes beyond the short term and plan for rapid scaling
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment which requires the ability to manage multiple concurrent workflows.
- Proven ability to independently manage and execute projects to completion
- Intellectual curiosity and desire for personal and professional improvement
- Knowledge of Fedwire, ACH, and banking operations
- Knowledge of digital assets infrastructure and markets (at a minimum candidates should understand the basics of cryptocurrency settlement and have traded crypto on exchanges in a PA capacity)
