SVP, Account Management, Global Digital Platforms Overview:Imagine rolling up your sleeves with some of the world’s leading technology companies to create innovative, differentiated products and solutions that shape the future of commerce. The Digital Platforms team is responsible for cultivating and managing Mastercard’s strategic partnerships with key players across the digital payments ecosystem. We enable the biggest names in tech, e-commerce, and financial services to build best-in-class solutions leveraging Mastercard technology and to deliver them at scale – solving real world problems for our partners and their customers. We’re looking for an experienced people leader to join our fast-paced, strategic team to manage and grow relationships with key global partners. This leader will enable our customers’ success by increasing the adoption of Mastercard products and services. This leader will be at the forefront of payment and financial services innovation delivering impactful and industry-leading capabilities to the market in collaboration with our partners. The Role:In this high-profile, customer-facing position you will:• Lead, motivate and guide a high-performance team responsible for the Mastercard’s global partnerships with leading technology companies• Lead the global customer relationships including building and enhancing relationships with key stakeholders and executives at the customer • Have full accountability for the customer P&L and product distribution KPIs• Drive Mastercard’s go-to-market strategy with your partners across all Mastercard products and services. • Identify new opportunities to expand our partnerships and evaluate and assess the strategic and economic impact of these potential opportunities.• Co-innovate with partners to build new product propositions through close collaboration with Mastercard product development and innovation teams. • Represent your customers’ and the market perspective internally at Mastercard, including within senior executives• Lead team responsible for all aspects of customer proposals (including crafting compelling RFP responses) and deal execution (including business case development, commercial terms structuring, negotiations, and legal contracting) in close collaboration with key business partners (e.g., finance, legal, product, engineering) and regional teams. All About You:• You’re an executive, entrepreneurial, a technologist and a self-starter who can effectively mobilize, influence, and lead large, cross functional internal and external teams.• You enjoy engaging with internal and external stakeholders in matrixed organizations to get things done- if there’s a hurdle, you know what levers to pull to work around it.• You have experience in deal development and can manage & lead a deal process end to end. • You’re an executive relationship builder that creates trust internally and externally • You consistently exhibit sound business judgement with established strategic/conceptual thinking and strategic planning skills.• You have a passion for understanding how products, tools and solutions work. In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
