Babylon's mission is to bring Bitcoin’s unparalleled security to the decentralized world via a new public Cosmos-SDK PoS blockchain (Babylon) and a suite of inter-chain protocols.

As a Developer Relations Engineer, you will be leading the success of the Babylon ecosystem in the developer community. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Be the technical partner and point-of-contact for teams using Babylon. This includes rollups, validators, and developers across the crypto ecosystem.

  • Enable developers to build successfully on our technology, providing prototypes, code samples, developer guides, and technical support to guide them every step of the way.

  • Lead developer engagement and communications, including updating our community on protocol updates, providing code support, participating in hackathons, and speaking/teaching at virtual and in-person conferences.

  • Synthesize developer feedback into clear technical requirements, and work with the engineering team to improve our products accordingly.

About You:

You are an experienced and crypto-native DevRel engineer with solid knowledge about blockchain security. You are friendly, energetic, organized, responsible, and enjoy helping others.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering

  • 2+ years of DevRel experience in blockchain layer-1 projects

  • Familiar with Cosmos SDK

  • Competent in software development. Can read Golang and Rust code, use CLI tools, deploy blockchain networks.

  • Excellent documentation and technical article writing skills

  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills

  • Familiar with the BTC developer community
