What We Are Looking For We are seeking a highly motivated Trader to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your passion for cryptocurrency and financial markets. You will be exposed to the fast-paced world of high-frequency trading (HFT) while learning new strategies within a growing asset class. The cryptocurrency market presents an additional layer of complexity, creating opportunities for solving technical challenges with innovative solutions. This is a client-focused role that runs alongside pure proprietary trading. You’ll work closely with the Business Development (BD) team to help structure solutions for clients, addressing their specific needs and objectives. With additional components related to Market Making, Defi, OTC and Ventures operations, this role combines trading and client interaction in a dynamic and evolving environment. We operate with a flat hierarchy, meaning you'll have direct access to senior team members and the company’s founders. Manage one of our major trading books, overseeing all operational and trading-related matters in real time. Analyse trading data and market conditions to continuously seek additional sources of edge. Work closely with other trading teams and middle-office teams to ensure proper booking and reconciliation of trades, while collaborating with the BD team to structure tailored solutions for clients. Liaise with key exchange counterparts on margin requirements, coin borrows, trade breaks, technical issues, and market-making requirements. Assist in improving existing trading strategies and contribute to the research and development of new strategies. Participate in client-focused activities, working with the BD team to solve problems and help clients meet their objectives. Research crypto projects and develop strategies on chain Develop models and tools to automate daily tasks. Contribute to Trading, Defi, OTC and Ventures operations, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

What you'll bring

Willingness to learn and dive deep into the cryptocurrency/DeFi space, strong interest and knowledge in this space is a huge plus. Python coding ability is mandatory. Solid technical knowledge and an understanding of how trading algorithms work. Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexibility to collaborate with the Asia desk and work across time zones. Experience in HFT, with training from a Tier 1 or 2 HFT firm, or experience in a crypto-native firm, is a plus. Familiarity with crypto side projects like running a validator, building trading bots on CeFi or DeFi, or systematic/discretionary trading is advantageous.
