We are on a mission to unlock global capital markets with the power of tokenization and institutional DeFi and need a world class Institutional Sales Lead to help us get there. 

k/factory (the core team behind the Centrifuge protocol) is looking for someone to own the Institutional go-to-market for Centrifuge. Boasting the highest TVL, Centrifuge provides both the infrastructure and ecosystem to tokenize, manage, and invest into a complete, diversified portfolio of real-world assets. Centrifuge was the first to coin the term real-world assets in 2017 and has since developed standards and communities that have shaped the industry as we know it. Centrifuge minted MakerDAO’s first real-world asset, launched the RWA Market with Aave and brought the first credit fund’s operations onchain with BlockTower. Active contributions to the ecosystem include forming the Tokenized Asset Coalition, hosting the Real-World Asset Summit and developing industry recognized token standards

The perfect hire combines an executive presence with the ability to roll your sleeves up and dive into the trenches of a fast-growth early-stage startup. You will own the institutional investor go-to-market strategy, including direct sales, pipeline development, and the overall success of our institutional relationships. You will have your finger on the pulse of what’s happening in the market and be able to synthesize insights into actionable opportunities for product and marketing. You should love influencing decision makers, managing multiple stakeholders at large organizations and making deals happen. You should be passionate about bridging the gaps between digital assets, traditional finance, and credit and have conviction in your belief that blockchain technology can improve the financial system. 

Expected Skills

    • 5+ years of sales and business development experience in Financial Services and/or Digital Assets
    • Proven track record of success in capital raising, business development, and new product go-to-market. 
    • Ability to execute sales strategies for financial products, integrating customer perspectives into product and marketing, and executing direct sales efforts. 
    • Experience working with senior stakeholders and decision makers in investment teams and serving as the go-to educational resource on the Centrifuge product, platform, and ecosystem. 
    • Ability to leverage your existing network to grow the vision of Real World Assets through Centrifuge

    • Willingness to learn and develop intuition for the fast-moving and sophisticated trends within tokenization 
    • Ability to delve deeply into topics within credit and finance, investment and allocation strategies, portfolio and risk management, and deal structuring
    • Comfort working independently, within a small team, and in a fast-paced startup environment
    • Excitement to hit the ground running on day one and passionate to help lead and shape the future of RWA
