About the role
We are looking for a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for the manual testing of all of our web products, to later move on to testing the API and blockchain side of things. Eventually, you will be involved in the creation and maintenance of automated tests.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with team members (developers and product managers) to develop, test and deliver high quality products
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Prevent, collect, analyze and track product defects
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
- Design, develop, maintain and execute UI automation scripts using Cypress and TypeScript (tentative)
Who you are:
- 1+ years experience in manual software testing methodologies
- Professional experience within an exchange, bank or payment system is a big plus
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Strong analytical, trouble-shooting and critical thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal, consultative and communication skills
- Self-managed, proactive work >
- Able to work independently within a team centric environment
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process and using collaboration tools
- Passionate about DeFi
- Experience in Blockchain or DeFi projects (Personal or professional)
Nice to have:
- Experience with test automation (Cypress or Selenium)
- Exposure to JavaScript/TypeScript
- Familiarity with Linux and NoSQL databases
- Familiar with test environment construction by CI/CD (especially in Github Actions)
