Job Description

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with the rest of the design team, stakeholders, and engineers in an iterative and feedback-driven process to create highly polished, visual layouts and interfaces based on user research, business requirements, and technical constraints
• Focus on designing web and mobile apps across BCL’s properties - with a focus on usability and UX/UI
• Come up with effective and creative solutions to multiple user experience problems
• Conduct UX research and tests to challenge assumptions and validate design decisions

What You Will Need

• Professional experience in Figma
• Great verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work within a team and execute project requirements in a timely and organized manner, often under tight deadlines
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality designs to stakeholders and developers
• Able to articulate design decisions to stakeholders and upper-management
• Ability to work with established design systems
• Give and take constructive feedback
• Motivated to learn new techniques and technologies

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER

• Working knowledge of Web3
• Experience with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standards
• Experience with UX research and testing

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $104,500.00-115,500.00 annually for California. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
