In 2017 3 university friends turned their hobby into a profession and founded a fascinating infrastructure provider that still enjoys a high reputation in the scene. The heart of the company is, on the one hand, a highly secure, complex and redundant infrastructure solution and on the other hand the development of tools for the entire Web 3.0 system.

At the young company near Haidhausen/Giesing (Munich) is everyone passionate about the same thing and simply enjoys working on the product!

Now they are looking for further reinforcement for the Linux team and for this reason they are hiring two new people!

Aufgaben

The goal is to create scalable and highly available infrastructure components that provide the basis for rapidly growing data traffic - aka WEB 3.0.

• deploying and maintaining blockchain node infrastructure
• deploying and maintaining hardware in a datacenter environment
• managing cloud-based systems (AWS, etc)
• monitoring the infrastructure and reacting to potential issues
• understanding specific threats imposed by downtimes, and proactively mitigating risks

You can expect 3 data centers, with 60 physical servers and 5 more that are virtualized. In addition, there are 250-300 VMWare's!

Qualifikation

• at least 3 years of experience in Linux infrastructure
• experience with the design of infrastructure
• experience with managing distributed systems and databases
• you are not afraid to contribute your own ideas
• you should be able to communicate well in English or at least have the desire to do so
• Technologies you should know: Linux, Virtualisierung (VMWare), Docker, Ansible, Terraform and CI/CD
• the team also works with: Ubuntu, Kubernetes, Chef, Puppet, Vargrant, openstack, Grafana, Git, Gitlab, Gradle, Jenkins and Nagios (but these are "Nice-to-haves")
