About the Role


The team is seeking a creative, problem-solving asset manager who will help scale mogul’s real estate and business operations to BILLIONS of dollars of assets under management. The role itself will report directly to the COO, and Co-Founder, Joey. We are growing our portfolio and growing it fast. Things will be broken, and all of the stale processes associated with operating real estate assets will be changed by YOU, and this team.


  • Real Estate Asset Management: Working with internal and external teams to optimize the performance and value of mogul’s real estate verticals
  • Vendor / Network Management: Assisting with mogul’s rapidly expanding network of brokers and property managers to scale platform offerings and operations
  • Operations: Optimize real estate and business operations through the implementation of best practices, AI, and data science to scale operations with the platform’s exponential growth
  • Previous knowledge/experience with real estate and/or financial services is ESSENTIAL, with in-depth complex financial modeling experience
  • Previous experience with AI implementation is a value-add. What is non-negotiable is the desire and ability to learn quickly while taking on substantial amounts of responsibility with minimal oversight


What You'll Do


  • Report directly to the COO, and Co-Founder, Joey
  • Work cross-functionally across all teams as needed
  • Act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders for asset management
  • Actively manage our rapidly expanding network of property managers and operators
  • Contribute to the ongoing sourcing of off-market deal flow through said external stakeholders
  • Closely monitor property performance for actionable insights
  • Synthesize and aggregate large amounts of data across multiple properties from disparate sources
  • Develop dashboards to track performance and create monitoring systems across various property performance functions
  • Identify winning trends across our best-performing properties to implement portfolio-wide
  • Model sensitivities on initiative implementation and the impacts
  • Take ownership over implementation of value-add recommendations given to our property managers/ operators
  • Run property accounting
  • Generate detailed monthly statements with cashflows
  • Implement best practices for internal dividend reconciliation processes
  • Manage ongoing operation through Ramp spend management
  • Track and actively manage loan systems and financing restructurings
  • Oversee property management systems
  • New property launch plans of action, including rental listings and make-ready
  • Set meeting cadence with property managers
  • Develop property manager performance systems
  • Utilize property manager networks for off-market deal flow contributions
  • Contribute to the growing standard operating procedure and best practices for future internal property management rollout


Required Skills & Technology


  • Ability to quickly learn concepts, skills, and processes on the fly
  • Use AI to automate workflows and existing processes
  • Previous experience in real estate and business operations
  • Mastery of complex real estate financial modeling
  • Mastery of real estate fundamentals
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ramp spend management
  • Messaging systems (Slack, Teams, Telegram, etc.)
  • Capacity to justify every decision with data-backed analysis
  • Ability to grow and manage teams as the company expands
  • Creative problem-solver who seeks multiple solutions to one problem rather than one solution to multiple problems


Required Experience


  • Experience at investment banking, private equity or other applicable financial institutions
  • Experience with AI implementation to automate processes
  • Experience scaling platforms
  • Experience managing large amounts of stakeholders
