Organized in 2018, NUTS Finance is a blockchain development lab focused on creating the building blocks to enable financial applications on the blockchain.

We launched Tapio Protocol in 2021, a synthetic asset protocol for liquid staking tokens and raised over $4 million from industry leading institutional investors including: Polychain Capital, Hypersphere, Arrington and more.

Our lastest DeFi protocol, Pike a native cross-chain money market was launched at the end of 2023 and we have raised over $6.4m from our own community and users.

We Are Looking For an Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a distributed team of cross-functional engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Establish and refine engineering processes to ensure high-quality product development and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with leadership and product management on roadmapping, technical planning, and prioritization.
• Oversee the architecture, design, and development of new features and products, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Conduct regular 1:1s, provide actionable feedback, and support the professional growth of engineers.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of technical specifications, processes, and product features.
• Monitor and evaluate team performance, addressing any issues and facilitating continuous improvement.
• Hire and onboard new engineering talent, ensuring a strong and cohesive team dynamic.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in engineering management, preferably within the startup or technology sectors.
• Strong technical background with a solid understanding of software development life cycles, agile methodologies, and blockchain technology.
• Proven ability to manage and scale engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience with DeFi protocols, blockchain technology, and the broader Web3 ecosystem is highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
• Bonus: Experience founding a company or building side projects in the crypto/Web3 space.
• Bonus: Active participation in DeFi protocols and/or DAOs.
