As the Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire accounts payable process for our global operations. You will lead a team of accounts payable professionals to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.

This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a meticulous attention to detail. Problem solving and resolution capabilities will be needed in order to maintain efficiency and accuracy.

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate Accounts Payable month end close.
  • Coordinate AP team activities, both internal and outsourced resources.
  • Calculating, reviewing and requesting OPEX funding from the treasury team.
  • Review invoices and payments processed by AP analysts.
  • Review and authorize payments to vendors, approval of bank wire transfers
  • Ensure critical payments are processed on time.
  • Coordinate and review AP Intercompany journal entries.
  • Manage vendor relationships and internal communication with CFO, Directors, and Regional Controllers.
  • Responsible for reviewing AP accounting software applications.
  • Accounts Payables reconciliation in Netsuite.
  • Identify process improvements to standardize and make the AP team more efficient.
  • Purchase orders process implementation and vendors contracts review along with invoices approvals.
  • 1099 filings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in accounts payable or related accounting roles, with 2 years in a managerial/ supervisory capacity.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. NetSuite or similar) and Microsoft Excel; experience with AP automation tools a plus.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.
