💻 Role

  • Build and pursue a channel of NFT creators.
  • Spark and help blossom relationships across the industry in order to help build a stronger community for us to serve.
  • Lead ongoing relationships and day-to-day communications with strategic partners.
  • Stay close to sellers and buyers in the ecosystem to understand user needs and provide the engineering team with key user insights and problems to solve.
📈 Opportunity Size

The ecommerce experience has been static for 20+ years and is one of the largest opportunities for disruption in the startup space today. Livestream shopping is a $170B GMV market in China and has grown 100% YoY. Retail is a $5T market opportunity!

NFT live shopping is a nascent category, but has the potential to be Whatnot's most popular category.

Curious about who thrives at Whatnot? We’ve found that low ego, a growth mindset, and leaning into action and high impact goes a long way here. You have:

  • 2+ years of experience working in a business development / partner-facing role. Experience at a high-growth startup or creator-focused platform is a plus.
  • You're comfortable in a high ambiguity environment and favor action over theory. 
  • Experience building and executing against a pipeline of targets.
  • You are a strategic and creative problem solver who can turn research and data into actionable plans.
  • You have a strong conviction that crypto will change the world and that NFTs will continue to cement themselves into the art & collectibles world.
🙏 Nice to Have

  • Experience in the Crypto/NFT space.
  • Passion for creator communities and/or existing Whatnot product categories (e.g. vintage clothing, collectibles).
  • Experience buying and selling in online marketplaces.
