Facilitate interplay between traditional fiat finance and crypto, by giving companies access to APIs to seamlessly navigate both Worlds. To increase acceptance of crypto and web3 businesses as normal businesses, and bring cryptocurrencies and stablecoins into the mainstream as payments instruments.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for hands-on coders who love what they do, and have the knack for attention to detail.
They are looking for challenging opportunities which involve building products from scratch. Someone who is proactive with their work, and willing to work towards the common goal to achieve our mission and make Merge a successful business.

What will you be doing?
On a daily basis, some of your work will involve but is not limited to:

• Write clean, secure, and well-tested code
• Build tools and integrate systems to scale the effectiveness of the product
• Serve as a mentor and supporter for fellow developers and team members

Skills That Will Help You Excel At Merge

• You have 5+ years of experience building highly reliable and scalable backend systems
• You have 3+ years of experience in Python, Java or Go
• You have experience architecting solutions that abstract away complexity
• You have experience in high throughput distributed systems and microservices
• You have experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies
• You have experience writing infrastructure as code using terraform
• You take ownership of your code from requirement to customer
• You have excellent communication skills
• You are familiar with security best practices
• You have experience instrumenting applications at scale
