What are we looking for?
We are looking for hands-on coders who love what they do, and have the knack for attention to detail.

What will you be doing?
On a daily basis, some of your work will involve but is not limited to:

  • Write clean, secure, and well-tested code
  • Build tools and integrate systems to scale the effectiveness of the product
  • Serve as a mentor and supporter for fellow developers and team members

Skills That Will Help You Excel At Merge

  • You have 5+ years of experience building highly reliable and scalable backend systems
  • You have 3+ years of experience in Python, Java or Go
  • You have experience architecting solutions that abstract away complexity
  • You have experience in high throughput distributed systems and microservices
  • You have experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies
  • You have experience writing infrastructure as code using terraform
  • You take ownership of your code from requirement to customer
  • You have excellent communication skills
  • You are familiar with security best practices
  • You have experience instrumenting applications at scale
