What you’ll do:

In support of our continued expansion, Public is seeking an experienced conversion marketer to join our lifecycle marketing team. This person will be responsible for improving conversion rates through the onboarding funnel using a variety of channels, including email marketing, push notifications, in-app-messaging, SMS, and more.

This is a high-visibility role focused on converting new users into long-term investors on Public. You’ll work collaboratively with the data team, the brand team, and acquisition to test and track the best cross-channel workflows to drive up conversion metrics.

Using best-in-class tools to strategize, execute, and report on campaigns ranging from one-off conversion tests to highly personalized lifecycle campaigns, your day-to-day work will have a direct impact on our key metrics. You’re a great fit for this role if you enjoy geeking out over conversion data, optimizing campaigns, and coming up with great user experiences that move them along the funnel.

Specifically, you’ll:

  • Work closely with the lifecycle team to plan and execute cross-channel campaigns to a variety of user segments
  • Analyze and segment our audiences, discovering key messaging tactics that pushes users through the funnel
  • Discover new audiences and opportunities to convert them through personalized cross channel campaigns
  • Collaborate with the brand team to plan, build, and execute new campaigns based on your analysis and segmented audiences
  • Collaborate with the product team to discover, prioritize and test opportunities for improved conversion through the web and app onboarding flow
  • Run weekly optimizations across existing lifecycle campaigns, including copy and design tests, plus frequency, timing and more.
  • Report on the results of campaigns including engagement and conversion using your own analysis as well as through collaboration with the data team

Who you are:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a lifecycle marketing role, preferably at a consumer tech app
  • Strong understanding of cross-channel lifecycle marketing strategies and how they impact funnel conversion
  • Basic to intermediate skill with email HTML and mobile responsiveness
  • Experience managing automated email and push campaigns
  • Strong understanding of A/B testing as well as control/expose tests and incrementality reporting
  • 2+ years of experience using a lifecycle marketing platform such as Braze, Leanplum, Iterable, or similar
  • Familiarity with metrics like LTV, revenue per user, and churn and how to impact them

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in fintech or another highly regulated industry
  • Braze experience
  • Mixpanel / looker experience
