We seek a highly motivated and creative Ecosystem Marketer to join our remote team. You will be working closely with our core team to develop and execute marketing strategies, build partnerships, and engage with our community. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of blockchain, DAOs, and decentralized technologies, along with experience in project management & delivery of marketing. Alongside this, you should have consideration for developers and be confident in partner engagement or community building.

The person coming on board will be naturally curious and passionate about engaging and expanding API3’s presence across the Web3 & DeFi ecosystem. Additionally, API3 operates as a DAO and we are looking for natural self-starters that thrive with autonomy and ownership.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute on activity to increase brand awareness and user adoption aligned with the ecosystem marketing strategy
- Work within a small team to deliver content (blog posts, whitepapers, webinars, etc.) that engage entrepreneurs and developers building DeFi protocols
- Collaborate with ecosystem participants such as chains, dApps, and infrastructure to deliver added-value activity
- Be comfortable with direct engagement and participation in community building
- Understand blockchain infrastructure and are comfortable communicating this
- Project manage ecosystem updates within the Ecosystem website & socials
- Define and implement marketing processes to deliver content/collateral at scale
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor strategies, leveraging these insights to inform marketing efforts
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the blockchain or tech industry
- Understanding of the developer audience
- Comfortable directly interacting with external partners
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter mentality and comfortable working autonomously
- Passionate about decentralization, open-source technology, and fostering the growth of the blockchain ecosystem
